I’ve always thought I had the best taste in music (even during my All-American Rejects phase). Making playlists is something I love to do, so I’ll be making playlists to go along with every blog piece.
Each playlist is meant to be listened to in chronological order. Each song is meant to tell part of the story. Released every Thursday. You can find them below.

Seven Days
The first time we went to court, the judge called our landlord to the stand. They spoke in low voices and suddenly, the judge told us we had more time. My mother and I still speculate that the judge pointed out that seven days for an eviction is, in fact, illegal.
